Food Forward Presents: 2013 Foodsteader Series

The 3rd annual 2013 Foodsteader Tour promises four half-day, hands-on workshops focusing on everything from tomatoes to coffee, from ice cream to autumn fruit preserves – all taught by locally-celebrated experts. Each session rewards you not only with knowledge you can use for a lifetime but also take-home samples, recipes, and this year’s new Foodsteader apron!
Food Forward’s mission is to reconnect people with people – through food – by bringing together volunteers and neighbors to share in the gleaning and distributing of locally grown food from private homes and public spaces which is then distributed to local food pantries and organizations serving those in need.
